Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Harold Dickerson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Council Members Present: Christine Williams, Harold Dickerson, Phyllis Dickerson, Cathy Mulholland, and Robert Gentner.
Absent: Kim Kollek-Jewell.
Also Present: Police Chief: Matt Balsley, Attorney: Chris Johnson, Treasurer: Brian Swett, and
Clerk: Karen McGuire.

MOTION by H. Dickerson, seconded by Williams to approve the agenda. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION by Mulholland, seconded by P. Dickerson to approve the July 14, 2015 minutes. All ayes. Motion carried.

Chief Balsley stated that it’s been pretty quiet in the Village. He did finally get the D.E.A. registration so will be able to get materials for Reggie’s training soon.

Mulholland gave the June run report. There were two fire runs in the Village for the month and seven ambulance calls. For all of SSESA there were 18 fire runs for the month and 146 ambulance calls. There have been 900 total calls year-to-date. There is a new Board member representing Vernon. Four employees will be going for underwater training. Scott Grinnell has been appointed Deputy Chief and John Munro will manage Station 2.

10.1 Park Agreement / Survey
Tabled. Still waiting for word from the DNR.
10.2 Meal and More Alley/Easement/Site Plan
Tabled. They received their first Engineering Review letter yesterday and the Clerk talked to Troy today about it. There are a few details that need to be worked out yet. He is going to talk to the DPW tomorrow as he thinks that the diagram for the existing storm sewer that our engineer provided may not be the most current. They were issued their building permit last week so things are moving forward.
10.3 Britton Road – Crack Seal
Tabled. Still waiting to hear back with a date.
10.4 Park – Tires
Tabled. Will wait until Kim is here to discuss further.
11.1 St. Mary’s Fall Festival – Parade Permit and Road Closures
Chief Balsley reported that the parade and Festival will be on September 12th and 13th this year.
The parade will take the normal route – south on Main Street from South Street to the school parking lot.
It will begin at 11:00 a.m. They asked that Main Street be closed from 11:00 a.m. to noon for the parade.
They have also requested that Main Street from Davis Street to Mason Street be closed for activities from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. The 5K Run route will not require any road closures.
MOTION by H. Dickerson, seconded by Williams to approved St. Mary’s Parade Permit and Road Closures as presented. All ayes. Motion carried.
