10.2     Meal and More Alley/Easement/Site Plan

10.3     Park – Tires

10.4     Vacant Lots

Clerk has received the market analysis information requested from local realtors. Diane Roll from Coldwell Banker of Morrice gave an estimated fair market value of $4,000.00 – $5,000.00 per lot. Lance Omer of REMAX of Owosso suggested a fair market value of $10,000.00 for the three lots together. Century 21 still has not sent their response. The market analysis was sought to help decide which realtor to list the properties with.

11.1     DPW Building – Well

  1. Dickerson explained that the well at the DPW building needs to be replaced. Two bids were presented.

J & M Well Drilling & Services, Inc. estimated a cost of $4,900.00 to replace the well. The cost of a well permit from the County will be additional. D.S. Doody – Well Drilling & Repair proposed a cost of $4,627.00 including the cost of the well permit from the County.

11.2     Transfer Station – Scrap Metal

  1. Dickerson reported that the man that has been hauling the scrap metal for the Village isn’t going to do it anymore. The options available to have the scrap taken care of need to be explored. The price of scrap metal is low right now and may get lower. Tribley checked on the price of a container from a place in Ovid that takes scrap metal. It would be $150.00 for them to drop it off at the Transfer Station. Space out there is limited and return would be very small. He suggested getting another individual who is interested in the job or possibly having the DPW haul the scrap. H. Dickerson suggested having the Personnel Committee meet to discuss all the options and details and report back to the Board with their recommendation.

Guest Comments: Bob Tribley – Village DPW

Tribley discussed the possibility of making the lot behind the library into a parking area. The grass would need to be removed and a base put down. It would create about six or seven much needed parking spaces. Tribley will get a price for needed materials and bring to the next Board meeting for discussion. He also mentioned that the alley behind there needs to have parked cars moved to allow for alley maintenance.

MOTION by H. Dickerson, seconded by Williams to adjourn the meeting. All ayes. Motion carried.
