Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m. by President Harold Dickerson.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
Council Members Present: Harold Dickerson, Phyllis Dickerson, Philip Hruska, Andy Flynn, and
Cathy Mulholland.
Absent: Scott Jones
Also Present: Attorney: Chris Johnson, Police Chief: Matt Balsley, Treasurer: Brian Swett, and
Clerk: Karen McGuire.

MOTION by Mulholland, seconded by Flynn to approve the agenda. All ayes. Motion carried.
MOTION by Hruska, seconded by P. Dickerson to approve the August 8, 2017 minutes. All ayes.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
9.1 Personnel / Police / Transfer Station / Insurance / Retirement
Chief Balsley reported that the new part-time officer just e-mailed him his resignation. The MCOLES listing will be updated and for now Sergeant Hruska will go back to his regular schedule. Chief Balsley reminded everyone that school starts in two days and the first football game is Thursday night at home.

9.6 SSESA
Mulholland gave the July run report. The Village had two fire runs and six ambulance calls for the month. All of SSESA had 13 fire calls and 142 ambulance calls for the month. The year-to-date total for all of SSESA is 1,046 calls.

10.1 Master Plan
There is a meeting scheduled with Carlisle-Wortman and the Planning Commission for September 13th or 14th.
10.2 Roads – Bonds – Informational Meeting
The Road Committee reported that the meeting went well. They discussed the options of issuing and receiving bonds, interest rates, and our financial institution. They gave Ian Koffler, from Miller Canfield, permission to gather information for the Village. He will forward the information to Gormley. All of the bond negotiations will depend on the results of the November election request for additional street millage.
